Matcha, date and nut bars

Raw date and nut bars enriched with matcha powder for an antioxidant boost.


1 cup dates (Mejdol or any softer variety)

1/2 cup dessicated coconut

1/2 Brazil nuts (or walnuts)

1/2 cup almonds (pistachios)

3 tbs chia seeds

4 Tbs water

3 teaspoons of matcha powder (use cooking matcha)


  1. Add all ingredients into a food processor and process till the mixture comes together and the the nuts are the size of breadcrumbs.
  2. Press the mixture into a silicon or parchment paper lined loaf tin.
  3. Let set in the freezer for 3-4 hrs.
  4. Unmold and cut into roughly 3-4cm squares.
